Energy Conservation Measures: These are strategies that are recommended and implemented based on the results of our analysis of data and assessment of your operations.
Energy Management Platform: The backbone of our energy management services is our unique Energy Management Platform. The Platform interfaces with your assets and facilities to continuously collect consumption data at the system or even device level. The Platform leverages meters and sub-meters for consumption measurement and uses sensors for temperature, humidity, light-level, occupancy, run hours of equipment, flow, quality and any other parameters that impact energy consumption. Wipro’s Energy Management Platform is technology-agnostic and can integrate with almost all Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA and other data aggregation layers to collect device-level information. This data is then analyzed, correlated and trended to look for energy saving opportunities.
Energy Operations Center: Our Energy Operations Center (EOC) is a central control center run by a team of energy experts. The EOC operates 24×7, thereby ensuring the capability to provide remote interventions on a round-the-clock basis. The EOC communicates regularly with the on-site team to make timely interventions, based on alerts and alarms generated by the Platform.
Service Consumption Area: A logical area where services are consumed by users of that area and the services have specified policies. We monitor the policies maintained and optimize the services within the boundary of the policies.
Service Window: It is a framework that enables us to identify the relationship between energy consumption patterns (measured in kWh) and the operations patterns (measured in guest count/footfalls, revenue). The framework illustrates the unique energy and business profiles that a typical enterprise goes through during its operations over a period of time (usually 24 hours). The profiles for each of the Service Windows would be different and would get repeated every day with a fair bit of consistency. Using this innovative framework we analyze the patterns and identify the potential to save energy costs for enterprises.
